With the help of an adorable slime named Exie, young readers will discover quests, skills, mana, inventory, parties, XP, and what it means to level up.
LitRPG for Little Readers
Adult LitRPG worlds can be filled with complicated systems, character builds, statistics, and dangerous quests. Exie’s world begins at Level One.
Meet Exie! introduces foundational LitRPG vocabulary through simple language, colorful illustrations, and concepts created especially for very young children.
Readers will encounter:

- Skill — something you learn and practice
- Inventory — the things you carry
- Mana — magical energy
- Party — friends who adventure together
- XP — experience gained along the way

It is LitRPG created for the way little readers first discover the world—not adult LitRPG simplified for children.
Created by an Educator and LitRPG Reader
After nearly twenty years of teaching elementary-school children, I understand how much young readers love repetition, recognizable patterns, playful language, and opportunities to participate.
As a LitRPG reader and community creator, I also saw something missing.
The genre had stories for adults, teens, and older children—but its youngest future readers had nowhere to begin.
Exie was created to give them that beginning.
